Buffalo Business Report - Tuesday, February 4th 2013



The Buffalo Sabres' $123 million HarborCenter project will be front and center next Tuesday at a meeting of the Buffalo Planning Board.  That board and the Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation will most likely approve the project, paving the way for a groundbreaking.sometime this year.

Also before the Buffalo Planning Board - a plan to build a new Dollar General at Main and Balcom near Canisius College.  Business First reports the store could be open by late summer or early fall if it gets approved.

As of yesterday, the Canadian Mint stopped circulating pennies.  The Niagara Falls Review reports the goal is to eventually gather up the coins and melt them down.

Immco Diagnostics has begun operations at its facility on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.  Immco provides autoimmune diagnostic products and services.
