Home Depot will hire 80,000 seasonal workers this spring.  That's 10,000 more full and part-time positions than last year.  A report in the Buffalo News says that will mean 375 new positions to be filled in Western New York.  Lowe's made a similar announcement about increased hiring last month.

Brothers of Mercy Nursing & Rehabilitation Center plans to add new outpatient services for physical therapy to its facility in Clarence.  Business First reports the plan was filed in mid-January and requires state approval.

Mod-Pac Corporation had record sales for its fourth quarter.  Net income went from twelve cents a share a year ago to thirty-one cents per share.

The Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda has presented its 2013 Green Globe Award to Kenmore Mercy Hospital.  

Willie Lewis, employed at the DoubleTree Club by Hilton Hotel Downtown Buffalo, was recently named winner of the Hilton Worldwide CEO "Light and Warmth" award.
