The current cost for a gallon of unleaded gas in the region is $3.89.  The AAA reports that's up fifteen cents in the past month.  Also, the current average cost is twelve cents higher than it was one year ago today.

McGuire Development Company has helped the Langston Hughes Institute Center find a temporary home in the former Sheehan Hospital building.  The center had lost its lease while searching for a new permanent home.
