Buffalo Business Report - Thursday, Febraury 14th 2013

Temperature-wise, January was a cold month, but not so for local car dealers.  The NFADA reports new vehicle sales were 30% higher last month compared to the same month last year.

Buffalo Wild Wings is testing out a new concept - instead of charging per wing, orders will be charged by weight.  An order of six, twelve or more wings will be replaced by single/double/triple designations or snack/platter/meal.  Individual stores' margin on sales fell off 2% last year, in part due to rising costs for wings.

An auction of the interior assets of the former Social Bar & Nightclub will come February 20th.  Business First reports Cash Realty & Auctions has been retained for the sell-off.

30 workers at NAES Corporation in Niagara Falls will be laid off.  The maintenance and construction services company will shut down officially May 9th.
