Bills Re-Sign Tarvarais Jackson
Orchard Park, NY (WBEN) The Bills have re-signed quarterback Tarvaris Jackson. Terms of the deal were not disclosed by the team.
Jackson did not see playing time last season, but Coach Doug Marrone said, “I spoke with Ryan (Fitzpatrick) and Tarvaris (Jackson) and told them we will have an open competition at the quarterback position – similar to what we will do at all positions on our team heading into our offseason work,” said Marrone. “I believe that our players will embrace this challenge. We are looking forward to working with our players as we prepare for the 2013 season.”
Jackson came to the Bills in a trade with Seattle for an undisclosed draft choice.
Jackson was to become a free agent in mid-March had he not been re-signed by the club
