Chautauqua County District Attorney David Foley says Monday that Charles Baker Jr. of Jamestown was arrested Saturday and was subdued with one jolt from the stun gun when he became combative at Jamestown Police headquarters. Officers took him to a hospital after he had a seizure two hours later in a jail cell. Foley says Baker died at the hospital after a second seizure.
Police say Baker was arrested after a traffic stop and was later found to have several baggies of cocaine.
Authorities are awaiting results of an autopsy conducted Monday by the Erie County Medical Examiner.
