A report in the Wall Street Journal indicates a merger may be in the works between office supply competitors OfficeMax and Office Depot. Office Depot has about 1,675 stores worldwide, mostly in the U.S. and Canada. OfficeMax has about 900 stores in the U.S. and Mexico.
Law firm Tully-Rinckey PLLC has opened a new office in Buffalo. The Albany-based firm also has an office in Syracuse.
Ken-Ton Presbyterian Village was awarded nearly $2.6 million from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. The grant money will help transform housing units into Assisted Living Facility or Service-Enriched Housing units.
