Sabres Waive McCormick
Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Less than 24 hours after a loss to the Winnipeg Jets, the Sabres are making a change. The team has waived forward Cody McCormick.
McCormick left practice early Wednesday afternoon.
He joined the Sabres in 2009 after several seasons with the Colorado Avalanche organization. He scored 9 goals, 24 points, and racked up 198 penalty minutes during his time with the Sabres.
