Buffalo (WBEN) -- The proposal for a downtown stadium on the Outer Harbor would include a unique museum focusing on sports.
The Greater Buffalo Sports and Entertainment Complex has invited the Strong Museum of Rochester to consider involvement in the project.
G. Rollie Adams, the museum's president and CEO, says they do have a concept in mind for the project -- a North American Museum of Sports and Culture that focuses on all kinds of sports.
"From football and basketball and team sports to individual sports like hiking, and, you name it -- fishing, boating, curling," Adams says.
Adams says it would deal with the sports person in all of us -- and focus on both American and Canadian sports.
