Woman Pleads Guilty in Crash that Killed Baby

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A Brant woman pleads guilty to a higher charge than originally filed in connection with a crash that killed a seven month old baby.
24 year old Danielle Kellogg admitted to driving drunk on Southwestern Boulevard in Brant on November 27, 2012, losing control of her car, crossing the center line, and crashing head on into the vehicle driven by Denise Hine causing the death of Hine's seven month old daughter Baylee Dion. Kellogg pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter in the first degree, a higher charge than first filed.

Prosecutors say Kellogg also had cocaine and marijuana in her system.

Kellogg had a previous DWAI conviction in Chautauqua County back in 2010.

She faces up to 15 years in prison when sentenced on May 22nd. She is free on bail for now.

Are you kidding?
" up to 15 years"?! So if she behaves she could get out 5-6 even though she was drunk AND had drugs in her system. Some how this doesn't seem fair.

Sad
So this woman has a prior alcohol arrest now is involved in another, she was drunk and had drugs in her system and "could get up to 15 years"?. So she could be out in 5-6 years. That baby would be in 2nd or 3rd grade if she had lived. This doesn't seem fair to me.
