Sabres Take On Flyers

Philadelphia, PA (WBEN) The Buffalo Sabres are on the road and hope to have the same success against the Philadelphia Flyers as they did in game one of this shortened season. The Sabres are coming off a 3-2 shootout loss to the New Jersey Devils on Thursday after letting go of a 2-0 lead in the third period.

Buffalo sits in 14th place in the Eastern Conference, five points out of the playoffs and have gone 3-2-2 under interim head coach, Ron Rolston. The Sabres beat the Flyers 5-2 back on January 20 in the Sabres' opening game since then the team has struggled mightily in amassing a 9-13-3 record.

On the injury front, Buffalo will be without defenseman, Jordan Leopold (hand) while Patrick Kaleta will be serving his second of a five-game suspension for his hit on the Rangers' Brad Richards a week ago. Faceoff is at 7:30 p.m.
