A report from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation shows commercial bank deposits in New York State went up 16.6% for the fourth quarter of last year.  Total deposits nationwide, which include commercial and savings banks, were up 3% for the period.

Buffalo data center CentriLogic has acquired a Canadian managed hosting and IT services provider.  The price was $9 million according to a report in Business First.
