Work on Southbound South Grand Island Bridge

The work starts at 8pm goes through 6am Sunday through Thursday nights until October, when the work is supposed to be finished.

During scheduled work hours, all southbound traffic will be crossed-over to a single lane on the northbound South Grand Island Bridge.

Work in 2013 includes deck joint repairs, a new overlay for the entire driving surface and the installation of a movable barrier gate at the south approach of the South Bridges.
