Buffalo,  NY (WBEN) The lease agreed upon between the Buffalo Bills, the state, and Erie County for Ralph Wilson Stadium is one step closer to completion, with unanimous approval by the Erie County Legislature.

"The i's are dotted and the t's are crossed," says Legislature Chairwoman Betty Jean Grant. "We now can focus on renovating the stadium to give the Bills a good place to play."

The NFL signed off on the lease earlier this week.

Grant says while the Bills play in a renovated stadium, talks can get underway for a new stadium, one she hopes will be in the city of Buffalo.
