Police say no charges have been filed and releasing any further details would be detrimental to the investigation.
Kenton superintendent Mark Mondonaro says the teacher was placed on administrative leave when the allegations were reported. He issued the following statement:
“Student safety is always our first concern and we placed the teacher on administrative leave from all school district property immediately upon hearing the allegations,” indicated Superintendent of Schools Mark P. Mondanaro. The school district is cooperating with the TOTPD who is working with the Erie County ADA’s office on this case. That cooperation calls for us to not release the teacher’s name or details regarding the allegations at this time. We will communicate further regarding this development when it is appropriate to do so."
