The Giant's name is painted in the end zone, on a goal post, and inside the bowl at the Ralph, with the stadium backdrop and hundreds of local extras appearing in Universal Pictures "The Best Man Holiday.'
The movie, being filmed mostly in Toronto is in town for a few days to shoot scenes in the Buffalo area, mostly at the stadium in Orchard Park. Several hundred local people have been hired to fill the stands for a mythic game caught on the sliver screen.
The Giants hold a special place in Bills fans memories, and it isn't necessarily a good one .They were the team that beat Buffalo and went on to win Super Bowl XXV on January 27 1991, when kicker Scott Norwood's missed 47-yard field goal attempt at the end of the game went "Wide Right." At a Wednesday morning news conference County Executive Mark Poloncarz commented on the film, saying its not necessarily right to have "The Giants" play there as if it was there own facility , but the sales tax revenue and economic activity can make up for any discomfort fans have.

Those working on the film- including WBEN's Dave Debo- are sworn to secrecy, but a few details have leaked out. The film features Taye Diggs and Morris Chestnut, in a sequel to "the Best Man", directed, written and produced by filmaker Malcolm Lee, Spike Lee's cousin and a noted filmaker in his own right.
