Witnesses tell police two pedestrians were struck by the car in the Wal-Mart parking lot on Transit Road in Clarence around 10:20 p-m Friday night. They suffered minor injuries, as did a third person who tried to stop the vehicle.
Police are searching for possibly a purple Chevy Beretta or Pontiac Grand Prix, with a blond-haired woman driving.

Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports that three persons were injured following a hit and run accident in the parking lot of Walmart on Transit Rd. in the Town of Clarence.
Erie County Sheriff’s Deputy Rozycki responded to complaint in the Town of Clarence after receiving a call that two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of Walmart on Transit Rd. The two minors received minor injuries and a third party who tried to stop the vehicle, described as being possibly a purple Chevy Beretta or Pontiac Grand Prix, fell from the vehicle as it was moving. This person received some injuries (non-life threatening) and was taken to ECMC for treatment. The vehicle in question left northbound on Transit Rd. and was being operated by a female w/ blond hair. Patrols were unable to locate the vehicle.
