McGuire Development Company's affiliate renovating the former Sheehan Hospital complex is trying to lure Time Warner Cable to the site. An incentive package including sales tax breaks has been applied for through the ECIDA and Empire State Development. Business First says the move could create 300 new downtown Buffalo jobs. Already committed to part of the complex are a nurse training center, University Pediatrics Dentistry and the Langston Hughes Center.
A name change for Tonawanda's Building Controls & Services. The company has been re-branded as Smart Edge, offering "Solutions for Better Buildings."
Dedicated to forensic sciences, Building Science Services LLC has been created. The training firm is headquartered in Williamsville.
