Orangeville, NY (WBEN) Wyoming County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the theft of nearly two tons of copper from a power station.
The large diameter copper was taken from the Wind Farm Power Station in Orangeville on three separate occasions since the end of June. Copper lines were cut over the weekend of August 21st and 22nd. Deputies warns many of the lines are energized and could cause death.
A $1,000 reward is offered for the arrest and conviction. Anyone with information is asked to call deputies at 585-786-8989.
