ESPN Radio on Buffalo Radio Dial



Buffalo, N.Y. (wgr550.com) - Beginning with the opening appearance of the Buffalo Sabres in the NHL Prospects Tournament Thursday, WWKB AM 1520 in Buffalo joins WGR as a full time sports radio station.  WWKB 1520 will now be the home of ESPN Radio in Buffalo.

ESPN 1520 will expand the footprint of sports radio in Buffalo and allow the Buffalo sports fan more choice and an additional outlet for play by play programming.  ESPN 1520 will air the full line-up of ESPN Radio.

Buffalo, NY – Effective immediately, WWKB AM 1520 is becoming ESPN Buffalo, 1520 AM.  ESPN Buffalo will offer the very best of ESPN’s world wide sports programming resources 24/7 – 365 days a year.  In combination with Entercom’s WGR 550AM, Buffalo’s local sports leader, ESPN Buffalo will offer local sports fans the very best in national sports talk, and access to expanded national and local play-by-play sports action.

ESPN 1520 kicks off its LIVE sports action with complete LIVE coverage of the 2013 NHL Prospect Tournament, which runs Sept. 5 to Sept. 9 in Traverse City, Mich., Every Sabres game will be carried live, with play-by-play provided by Paul Hamilton of WGR 550 radio.  A complete schedule of tournament games for the Sabres is below.
