The current average cost for a gallon of unleaded gas is now $3.68 in the region, according to the AAA. That's a drop of eight cents in the past two weeks, but still thirty-four cents higher than the national average.
Seneca One Realty LLC is asking for a name change at One HSBC Center. With the banking firm moving out for good by month's end, the owner wants to call the building One Seneca Tower. That request is likely to be granted by the Common Council tomorrow.
Also downtown, former One HSBC Center tenant Phillips Lytle LLP is preparing for its move into the One Canalside Building. That facility should be open by Thanksgiving. The nearby East Canal urban park should be completed by mid-November. That park is due south of One Canalside.
According to the Register-Star of Hudson, New York, Buffalo-based WILLCARE has been awarded a $75,000 bid to take over the Columbia County Certified Home Health Agency. The regional home care provider has fifteen branches in New York, Connecticut and Ohio.
