First Real Snowfall of The Season Hits Southtowns

The cold front that crossed the region Monday evening brought the first accumulating snowfall of the season for many locations, with temperatures also tumbling below freezing.

From the National Weather Service, here's some overnight snow totals around WNY:

- 5 inches of snow already has fallen on Perrysburg,3 inches in Cassadaga, 2.-7 inches in East Aurora, 2 inches in Orchard Park, Stafford and Orangeville.

Due to this, some roads may still be snow covered in spots, resulting in slick driving conditions. In addition, aeas of black ice have also likely formed on untreated roadways. If you will be driving early this morning be sure to exercise caution as untreated roads, as well as bridges and overpasses may be slick.
