As expected, the ECIDA approved a revised sales-tax break package for Delaware North Companies.  The new package amounts to a little over $800,000 on a planned $17.5 million investment.  In return, Delaware North has agreed to lease at least 110,000 square feet of Uniland's planned $80 million, 12-story building set for the corner of Delaware Avenue and Chippewa Street.  The company will also create 65 new jobs.

The Western New York Power Proceeds Allocation Board has recommended $2.115 million in funding to seven Western New York enterprises, including $1 million to Ford Motor Company to train its workforce on the next generation of technologies that will allow it to compete as a world-class stamping manufacturer.

Shamrock Chic has re-opened in the Walden Galleria between Urban Outfitters and the Apple Store.
