In Court Today: Fan Who Fell At The Ralph



(WBEN) The football fan who slid down a stadium railing during a Buffalo Bills game and fell into the stands below is scheduled to answer criminal charges Tuesday.

Robert Hopkins, 29,  is scheduled to be arraigned in Orchard Park Town Court  on  misdemeanor charges of assault and reckless endangerment following the Nov. 17 fall, which was captured on video.(BELOW)

Hopkins was  seen sliding down a 300-level railing at Ralph Wilson Stadium and then toppling backward and falling about 30 feet into the 200 section. He landed on another fan.  Hopkins has sent an apology e-mail to the other man, saying of his actions “I assure you this is out of character for me.”

According to a Rural Metro ambulance service report, the man who was hit by the falling man sustained a head injury. Hopkins  sustained a shoulder injury

Yes
This guy should face every charge they can throw at him. Bad enough his stupidity endangered his own life, but it also could have killed others. He's lucky to be alive!! A little time behind bars to contemplate things is well-deserved.
