The downtown Buffalo restaurant scene has some new items to chew on: At 79 Chippewa, The Lodge Bar and Grill officially opened for business. A ribbon-cutting was held for the ski-themed eatery.
Developer/restaurateur Mark Croce has filed a proposal with the Buffalo Planning Board to add one story to the former Buckin' Buffalo Saloon at 294 Franklin Street. Business First reports Croce intends to convert the site into an upscale pizzeria/sports bar.
Cellino & Barnes will open an office in downtown Los Angeles on January 2nd. The injury attorneys will be the third Buffalo firm to have a presence in that West Coast City. There are already offices for Lipsitz Green Scime Cambria LLP and Nixon Peabody.
On January 11th, Cash Realty & Auctions will auction off a pair of parcels owned by Ciminelli Corporation. Both are located near the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
M&T Bank has decided to discontinue banking services for foreign missions. The decision has left the country of Cuba without a bank to manage its business, forcing the closure of most of its U.S. consular services.
