WNY Comes Through for the Animals!

Tonawanda, N.Y. (WBEN) - Western New York's reputation as a giving community was again emphasized Thursday and Friday as the RadioThon to support the SPCA serving Erie County raised $172,164.  122 adoptions also resulted from the two day effort.

WBEN teamed up with STAR 102.5 in broadcasting LIVE from the SPCA on Ensminger Road in Tonawanda during the event.

The annual Radiothon is the most crucial fundraiser for the SPCA Serving Erie County. Year after year, through the Radiothon, the SPCA is able to raise the necessary funding to continue to do their work that benefits both people and pets in Western New York. Since the Radiothon began 10 years ago, more than $1.7 million has been raised by our community!
