SNOW: Some Saw a Foot Each Hour in Southtowns

A truck driver in Wyoming County died Wednesday during the peak of the Lake Effect snowstorms that delivered over two feet of snow  in some parts of the southtowns during drive time.

A stretch of the Thruway between Hamburg and Silver Creek closed due to poor visibility, bad road conditions & several accidents.  North Collins had a travel ban Wedenesday evening, and the Erie County Sheriff's Office was urging no unnecessary travel inthe southtowns  for much of the evening.
