Bills Top Jaguars 27-20
Jacksonville, FL (WBEN) For the second straight week Sunday, the Buffalo Bills took their show to Florida and this time came out with a win. The Bills used a solid running game as well as an improved performance from their quarterback to win a see-saw battle with the Jacksonville Jaguars, 27-20.
The Bills started out sputtering behind rookie quarterback, EJ Manuel who had a poor outing in last week’s game in Tampa did bounce back with a better outing, passing for a pair of scores while rushing for another. He finished the day 17 of 24 for 193 yard and one interception.
The ground game for Buffalo was also improved from last week as C.J. Spiller, Fred Jackson and company produced 198 yards rushing. The defense also chipped in to batter the Jaguars, taking the ball away four times while sacking quarterback, Chad Henne five times.
The Bills are now 5-9 on the year and host the Miami Dolphins next Sunday out at Ralph Wilson Stadium
