The big questions seems to be just how much rain the area will get. The western New York region is on the edge of a system that will bring warmer temperatures to the area Thursday through Sunday, and with it will come some rain. That rain, combined with expected snowmelt, could lead to some flood potential for the area.
Today's high is forecast around 40 degrees with 46 degrees in the Sunday forecast. Just to the south in places like Pittsburgh, the temperature could approach 60 over the next few days.
