In the mood for a unique way to celebrate Christmas with a flavorful flair?
Perfect for all ages, Niagara County Community College has one more weekend of activities at Santa’s Gingerbread Village inside the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute at 28 Old Falls Street in downtown Niagara Falls, NY. The life-size student constructed gingerbread village features Santa’s House, as well as different themed facades developed by NFCI’s Baking & Pastry Arts students in conjunction with Pastry instructor Cathy Barron.
In addition to visits with Santa, free activities include cookie decorating, holiday crafts, letters to Santa, and student demonstrations. This Saturday, the Barnes & Noble store inside NFCI will hold a wreath making demonstration with one lucky attendee taking home the wreath just in time for the holidays.
NFCI’s Gingerbread Village is open Fridays from 6-9 p.m. Saturdays from 1-8 p.m. and Sundays from 1-5 p.m. through December 23. View the full schedule of events for NFCI’s Gingerbread Village online at nfculinary.org.
