Storm Update

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) The wet, icy mess that greeted Western New York Sunday morning is dissapating and the clean-up is underway. The National Weather Service has cancelled flood warnings for Buffalo, Cazenovia and Cayuga Creeks but the Tonawanda Creek is expected to crest later in Batavia which means those in Amhest and Claence could see flooding Monday into Tuesday. Power outages are widespead through the region as crews from NYSEG and National Grid are working to restore power to their customers. Steve Brady, spokesman for National Grid says some customers may be waiting until Tuesday until they have power restored.
