Flooding Closes WNY Roads



Clarence, NY (WBEN / NITTEC) -- Last weekend's ice storm and flooding left behind a few after-effects, in the form of waterlogged roads. Several roads remain closed due to flooded conditions.

Check Creeks & Stream levels:  Erie | Niagara | Genesee | Chautauqua  | Cattaraugus Counties.
 
The Erie County Sheriff's office is asking motorists, for their own safety, to respect the barriers where roads are closed,  specifically on Wolcott Road in Clarence between Transit and Goodrich roads.

This is the list of latest  road closures compiled by Niagara International Transportation Technology Coalition (NITTEC.org) :    

Amherst, Erie County:
Smith Road between Transit Rd and Millersport Hwy
 
Clarence, Erie County:
  • Clarence Center Road between Shimerville Rd and Goodrich Rd
  • Tonawanda Creek Road between Salt Rd and Rapids Rd
  • Rapids Road between Tonawanda Creek Rd and Berghorn Rd
  • Goodrich Road between Lapp Rd and Sesh Rd
  • Wolcott Road between Transit Rd and Goodrich Rd

Newstead, Erie County:
  • Cedar Street between Brucker Rd and Koepsel Rd
  • Koepsel Road between Cedar St and Route 93
  • Burdick Road between Tonawanda Creek Rd and Block Church Rd

Royalton, Niagara County:
  • Riddle Road between Kinne Rd and Tonawanda Creek Rd
