A house in Alden was knocked off its foundation Wednesday when a driver didn't stop at an Alden stop sign.

Here's the statement from the Erie County Sheriff's Office
21 yr. old,  Zachary E. Olejniczak, was driving his 1999 Toyota Solara, northbound on Two Rod Road, in the town of Alden, where he failed to stop for a stop sign, located at the intersection of Two Rod and Westwood Roads.  Mr. Olejniczak's vehicle traveled across Westwood Road and crashed into a residence located at 11664 Westwood Road.  Residents were at home, at the time of the crash, and were not injured.  Significant damage was caused to the foundation of the home.
Mr. Olejniczak was not injured, in the crash, and submitted to a chemical breath test which resulted in a reading of .25% BAC, over three times the legal limit.
Mr. Olejniczak was arrested for aggravated DWI, speeding, failing to stop at a stop sign, failure to maintain vehicle in traffic lane, and obstructed windshield.
Mr. Olejniczak was released and is scheduled to appear at Town of Alden Justice Court, at a later date.
