Overtime costs for New York State have climbed 27.3% since 2007. From 2007 to now, the state workforce has dropped by 19, 735 employees. Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli reported overtime earnings at state agencies rose to a record $611 million in 2013, a nearly 16 percent increase from the previous year. It's the third consecutive year with a rise in OT costs.
The New York Power Authority has made a number of new low-cost hydropower allocations. In this area, Ingram Micro in Amherst and Buffalo's Graphic Controls will benefit. In exchange, the businesses pledge to add a combined 125 new jobs.
Erie County's Auto Bureau is offering new Mobile Auto Bureau locations and hours. The Mobile Auto Bureau will be at the West Seneca Ice Rink on Union Road Fridays from 10am-3pm. It will be parked at the AAA Travel and Insurance Center, 100 International Drive, Williamsville on Saturdays from 930am-12pm.
