Buffalo, NY (WBEN) The Elma man accused of killing a Toys R Us manager last summer now faces federal gun charges and a charge of making false statements.
38 year old Bernard Grucza is charged with making false oral and written statements to South Georgia Outdoors to get a Beretta 9mm pistol. Prosecutors say he also made false written statements to Big Daddy Guns to get a Ruger .380 caliber pistol.
Grucza is also accused of possessing a pistol despite having a restraining order against him, and prosecutors add he lied to AFTE agents when he said he destroyed the pistol and thrown out the parts when he did not.
Grucza is accused of killing Larry Wells inside the Hamburg Toys R Us in June of last year.
