THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO HAS ISSUED A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 1 PM EST WEDNESDAY. * LOCATIONS...CATTARAUGUS AND ALLEGANY COUNTIES. * TIMING...LATE TONIGHT THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. * ACCUMULATIONS...LESS THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH OF ICE. * IMPACTS...A THIN GLAZE OF ICE WILL DEVELOP THROUGH THE LATE OVERNIGHT AND MORNING HOURS OF WEDNESDAY. SOME SNOW MAY MIX IN WITH THIS FREEZING RAIN AND COMBINED EXPECT SLIPPERY CONDITIONS ON ROADS AND WALKWAYS. THE STILL FROZEN GROUND WILL CONTINUE THE FREEZING RAIN THREAT EVEN AFTER AIR TEMPERATURES SLOWLY RISE ABOVE THE FREEZING MARK WEDNESDAY.
