PICTURE: Flash Mob for Central Terminal Video

The first of two flash mob sessions being used to create a promotional video for Buffalo's Central Terminal was held Wednesday morning, with a second to follow that evening.

From The Central Terminal Restoration Corp, here's the recruitment announcement

It all takes place on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 for two segments at 7am and 7pm

Be a part of Buffalo history in an open call for dancers of ALL abilities to perform to Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” along with background folks at Buffalo Central Terminal Center for Restoration Arts and Sciences, 495 Paderewski Drive, Buffalo, New York 14212.

We fully expect this video to go international and YOU can be a part of it!

The flash mob portion will be in the 7 am morning session and we hope to have it conducted in front of the Tower – the more the merrier!  Our choreographer has developed a set of easy to learn 32 steps.
If anyone wishes to dress in decade costume – terrific – especially in the 30′s or 40′s – even WWII uniforms since the Terminal was a main hub for military transport then.

Our evening session at 7 pm is held in the Main Concourse and will be groups and individuals, couples, families – whatever – we are Buffalo and we have Buffalove, after all.

Filming will be performed by Paragon Advertising and Buffalo SkyCam for the most dramatic angles and close-ups.  It’s going to be a blast!

Let’s get Happy!

Parking will be on the flat grassy area along Curtiss Street – just to your right as you look up the approach to the Tower -

Email for your waiver and release forms now to speed up check-in.  Anyone under the age of 18 must have their forms signed by a parent or guardian.

See you there!
