Funeral Held for State Trooper Killed on Highway

JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. (AP) - A funeral service has been held for a New York state trooper who was struck and killed while making a routine traffic stop on a four-lane highway.

The service for 42-year-old Christopher Skinner at First Baptist Church in Johnson City ended Tuesday outside the church with a 21-gun salute as American flags were given to family members and bagpipers played "Amazing Grace."
Gov. Andrew Cuomo was in attendance, along with as many as 2,000 law enforcement officers.
State police say Skinner was killed instantly when he was intentionally struck by a pickup truck around noon last Thursday as he cited a motorist for an infraction on Interstate 81 just north of Binghamton, New York.
The driver of the pickup, Almond Upton of Melrose, Florida, has been charged with first-degree murder.

Do you think the FCC and NFL should work to end the blackout rule?
