Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A Twin City Ambulance paramedic took the stand in day two of the Candace Cartagena trial.

Donald Snyder says tests he conducted on Cartagena to determine if she were unconscious made him believe she was faking. Snyder says he told Cartagena to open her eyes, she did and began talking.

Cartagena was found in a back shed of her home unresponsive.

An Amherst Police Officer says he and another officer found her in the shed. Officer Mark Doldan says Cartagena told him she tried to kill herself with an overdose..
