Overnight AStorms Hit Niagara, Orleans Counties



A round of gusty thunderstorms knocked down trees and wires across Western New York this past evening.

Wednesday morning near 5 am, National Grid was  reporting more than 10,000 households without power in Niagara and Orleans Counties, including nearly all of Albion, Carlton, Gaines and Somerset.

Hail the size of nickels fell in Wyoming County.

County Line Road is closed between Mill and Seamen Roads in Royalton due to wires down
