Buffalo, NY (WBEN) The Dominator is now a hall of famer. Dominik Hasek joins five others in the 2014 class of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Hasek played nine years for the Sabres, leading the club to the 1999 Stanley Cup Final against Dallas. He also earned two Hart Trophies as league MVP. Hasek is a six time Vezina trophy winner as best goaltender and won the Jennings Trophy for fewest goals against twice.
Hasek played 491 games for the Sabres.
He also played two seasons in Chicago, one in Ottawa and four in Detroit.
