Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Prospective bidders for the Buffalo Bills have received the sale book from the trust, according to reports.
John Kryk of the Toronto Sun compares this to the information a home seller gives to a real estate agent. "It's a summary of what you're putting up for sale. Certainly if you're going to shell out $1 billion to try and buy it, you want to know what the return on investments, what the financials are, etc," explains Kryk.
Kryk says he has not heard about any deadlines for the applications, but predicts the prospective owners will get a couple of weeks to pore over the information. The book was released via a secure website.
Kryk says sources told him this was not only given to those who requested it, but to people whose names were in the press, including Terry Pegula, Tom Golisano and Donald Trump.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had to approve the sale book before going out.
