Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union has signed a 12-year agreement with Lockport Ice Arena & Sports Center Inc. for the naming rights to the new facility. The rink will be called Cornerstone CFCU Arena when it opens in September. No financial terms were made public.
Tops Markets has entered a purchase agreement to take over operations of the Budwey's in Newfane. The store will close July 27th and reopen August 9th with new signage and store products.
Newstead Fire Company has received $152,000 in federal funding.
A federal grant totaling $340,800 has been obtained for the Daemen College Advanced Education Nursing Traineeship Program.
The Woods at Bear Creek invites people to come "glamping" with them. This first-of-its-kind resort offers 16 fully furnished, two-bedroom, full bathroom, heated and air conditioned cabins. The cabins have WiFi and flat screen TVs with DirectTV. Grand opening is next weekend; Friday and Saturday; at 3510 Bear Creek Road in Franklinville.
