Former Supervisor Gets Probation for Misconduct

Lockport, NY (WBEN) A former Town of Niagara Supervisor is on probation for the next three years.

Steven RIchards pleaded guilty to official misconduct, admitting to using town resources for personal use in 2010.
Prosecutors say he used town workers on town time to pick up a catch basin and bring it to his auto business.

Richards has paid $1,200 in restitution. He's been ordered to stay out of politics and away from town hall and town employees while he's on probation.
