(WBEN) The Niagara County Sheriff's office says the pilot who crashed at Royalton Airport over the 4th of July weekend -- 78-year-old John Schnabel of Williamsville -- has died of his injuries. Schnabel's light plane went down directly after takeoff July 5th. He was conscious when he was pulled from the wreckage, but he was hospitalized for multiple injuries -- and succumbed to those injuries 11 days later.
 

(WBEN) Rob Astorino will make a campaign swing through Western New York today. The Republican candidate for governor will be part of the Pulaski Day Parade in Cheektowaga, and then visit Canalfest in North Tonawanda later in the day.
 

(WBEN) West Seneca native Lee Stempniak has agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the New York Rangers.
