Wielinski Family Pushes to Keep Flight 3407 Lawsuit Forward
Buffalo, NY (WBEN) The attorney for Doug Wielinski's family says his limbs were burned off when Flight 3407 crashed into his home in 2009.
The attorney wants Continental to pay, but the lawyer for the airline says there's no evidence Continental acted in a wanton manner. Continental Airlines is pushing for the lawsuit to be dismissed.
Wielinski's attorney says the Continental logo was all over the plane. Colgan Air operated the flight in partnership with Continental.
Wielinski was the only person on the ground killed when the plane crashed.
Judge Frederick Marshall is reserving judgment on the motion to dismiss the lawsuit.
