Arson returned to a quiet street in North Tonawanda this week and an admitted firebug has been locked up a second time, accused of setting fires almost immediately after being let out of jail on bail
Michelle Johnston, 41, was accused of setting some of the first nine arsons near her Fifth Avenue home, and was re-arrested after police accused her of setting two more fires as soon as she got out of jail on the earlier charges.
Police say Johnston set a fire Sunday that badly damaged a house on her street, and then set another fire at her own house Wednesday morning.
The earlier series of arsons stopped for more than a week while she was behind bars.
She's due back in court this afternoon.
