(WBEN) -- A new report indicates there could be a fourth bidder on the Buffalo Bills.
Despite reportedly not making a non-binding bid before the Tuesday deadline this week, the New York Post reports late Friday that Tom Golisano is pursuing ownership of the Bills.
The paper, citing two anonymous sources, says the billionaire former Sabres owner plans to make an offer early next week. The article says the estate of late founder and owner Ralph Wilson Jr. wants to "create more competition" and will "welcome" a Golisano bid, even a week late.
He would be the fourth reported bidder on the team, including the Toronto group, Donald Trump and Terry Pegula.
Golisano did not respond to the Post's request for comment.
The Bills are expected to sell for more than $1 billion.
