The federal National Park Service awarded Buffalo-based Delaware North Cos. a long-term contract to operate the Yavapai Lodge and other select visitor services in the Grand Canyon National Park. Business First reports Delaware North was awarded the 15-year contract following a lengthy bidding and review process. No terms were made public. Delaware North takes over the operations on January 1st of next year.
The State Department of Health approved plans by Buffalo Surgery Center LLC for an expansion of Excelsior Orthopaedics LLP in Amherst. The $1.2 million project will be built next door to its existing building at 3925 Sheridan Drive.
M&T Bank and the Buffalo Bills have re-upped on their sponsorship agreement. This deal goes for five years and includes a new “M&T Family Zone” located in Section 105 of Ralph Wilson Stadium.
Second quarter revenues continued to decline for Synacor Inc. Synacor lost $1.9 million in the quarter, compared to a net loss of $600,000 a year earlier.
