Buffalo, NY (WBEN) There are new figures for the initial bids for the Buffalo Bills. Forbes magazine reports they're well below $1 billion.
The magazine quotes sources not directly involved in the sale, who say the leading bidder right now is Sabres owner Terry Pegula, with a bid of $890 million, the Toronto group led by Jon Bon Jovi at $820 million, and Donald Trump at $800 million.
Forbes yesterday estimated the value of the Bills at $935 million, so it's possible Morgan Stanley will be looking for more potential buyers to raise the final selling price. Final bids are expected shortly after Labor Day.
